FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS,

Oh! She/he has hurt me,
You can’t believe what he/she did,
Such person deserve death for hurting me so badly,

Forgiveness is eating poison and expecting someone else to die.
FORGIVE!
Forgiveness shows your strength,
It makes people believe more in your faith,

Forgive yourself
Forgive others
God has forgiven even the inexcusable in you.
Until you learn to forgive the situation, yourself and others,
You cannot move forward.

Forget? No, that is almost impossible, (When I am not Olodo)
But you can forget the hurt, the pain that comes up whenever you remember the situation.

How?
Pray for the offender,
Call to say he/she is forgiven
Learn to appreciate God for making you stronger through the experience.
Remember to work at it as forgiveness is a constant attitude.

“People have to forgive. We don't have to like them, we don't have to be friends with them, we don't have to send them hearts in text messages, but we have to forgive them, to overlook, to forget. Because if we don't we are tying rocks to our feet, too much for our wings to carry!”
― C. JoyBell C.

PRAYER

PRAYER!

Prayer is not ONLY ASKING!
Prayer is Worship
Prayer is Praise
Prayer is Adoration
Prayer is Confession of sins
Prayer is Intercession (asking on behalf of others)
Prayer is God talking to us (It’s a two-way communication)

Pray! Pray! Pray!
When you pray:
  • You proclaim God as All-sufficient
  • You connect yourself to divine solution to everything!
  • You get to know God’s Will
  • You receive peace that no man can give……..etc

How should you pray!
  • Get a place void of distraction
  • Get focused in your mind, body and soul (This requires discipline/self-control)
  • Get a jotter to write down all distractions and inspirations.
  • Get talking with God about everything and anything.
  • Start with a heart of thanksgiving. (Na only the living fit pray nah)

After Praying
Believe, your prayers have been answered
Then PRAY AGAIN and AGAIN until your joy is full.

PRAYER WORKS!

Before Salvation..

Before salvation,

We take everything as it comes,
We receive whatever the devil throws at us,
We take every word spoken against us without rebuff,
We allow people treat us as they like

Why?
We don’t know our place in God!
We don’t know how valuable we are.

Now,
We know how much God love us,
We know it cost God His Son for us to be redeemed,
We know we are valued and worth a whole lot
We know we have to work together with God to take charge of our lives

So,
You are who God says you are: You are great, lovely, wealthy, worthy, beautiful, influential………
Take charge of how you feel, how you relate with others and what you do with life
You are not accepting what the devil brings anymore,
You should negate every evil spoken word by the Word of God,
You won’t allow anyone treat you with less value.

TAKE OVER!

TAKE CHARGE!

NOSTALGIA

I have a nostalgic feeling today after going through this anthem in George Orwell's book: Animal Farm.
Aint you and I tired of what our leaders are turning our great nation to?
Feeling frustrated alone won't change anything.
STAND UP AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!!!

Beasts of England, Beasts of Ireland,
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken to my joyful tidings
Of the Golden future time.
Soon or late the day is coming,
Tyrant Man shall be o'erthrown,
And the fruitful fields of England
Shall be trod by beasts alone.
Rings shall vanish from our noses,
And the harness from our back,
Bit and spur shall rust forever,
Cruel whips no more shall crack.
Riches more than mind can picture,
Wheat and barley, oats and hay,
Clover, beans and mangel-wurzels
Shall be ours upon that day.
Bright will shine the fields of England,
Purer shall its waters be,
Sweeter yet shall blow its breezes
On the day that sets us free.
For that day we all must labour,
Though we die before it break;
Cows and horses, geese and turkeys,
All must toil for freedom's sake.
Beasts of England, Beasts of Ireland,
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken well, and spread my tidings
Of the Golden future time.

My Biggest Fear!

MY BIGGEST FEAR!

My fear is not that our leaders amass great wealth through public funds or that they are unconcerned about the suffering of the average Nigerian, I even care less about the fact that their unscrupulous decisions adversely affects us daily, not even that everyday we live in fear of insecurity, my fear aint even that Nigeria's today is so gleam.

The future of Nigeria is my fear!
I look around the nooks and corner of fatherland and see that 'would be' leaders of this country are thieves, rogues, incompetent, misguided, inept, lazy, unwise, cheats, Scoundrels, miscreants, imprudent e.t.c.

Let us all in our own little corner start a Nigeria we wish to have one day: sensitise your community about clean environment, blocking of drainages, education, politics e.t.c.

Let's incorporate integrity and unmatchable maturity wherever we find ourselves. Let the building of Nigeria's broken wall starts from your backyard. Remember Nehemiah and his re-building of Jerusalem's wall. (Nehemiah 1-13)

DO THE RIGHT THING!

BE AN ADVOCATE OF CHANGE!

GOD BLESS YOU!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!

Which Way Nigeria?

I don't and will never support violence or looting! But, recent happenings in Nigeria has given me sleepless nights more than I have ...
