Friendship Series (2)

What Kind Of Friend are You?
I have terrible friends
They stab me behind
They gossip about me
They do not seek my good,
They are even looking for my downfall.
If such despicable people are your friends, Then who are you?
MOST times, we attract our types to ourselves.
If you are a loyal, committed and loving person,
Your friends will likely have 60% or more of your attributes.
But if you are selfish, cold and unloving, most of your friends will be like you.
One who needs friends must first show himself/herself friendly.
Real friendship begins with you.
Don’t be the parasite in a relationship
Friendship where both sides bring values to table last longer.
Maturity is needed if you were meant to have a real and solid relationship.
Ensure you build maturity:
Spiritually,
Character wise,
Information wise,
Emotionally,
Career Wise,
In Loyalty
Etc.
Also, learn to stop being flippant with secrets.
You are a real friend if you love unconditionally without taking status into consideration.
Show me who you are and I will tell you who your friends will be.

Are you a true and real friend?

I Love you!

Friendship Series (1)

WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS?
Friends are the siblings God never gave us-Mencius
No man can live in Isolation,
We all need a friend in life’s journey.
Someone who understands us,
Who is always there,
Who cares about us,
Someone we can run to when we need support and a shoulder to cry on.
Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking you need no one!
Your friend can be older, younger, richer, poorer, fatter, slimmer, taller or shorter than you are.
In friendship, status, looks and age is not a barrier.
All that is important is ‘at home feeling’ with someone.
Do not let disappointments by past friends close your eyes to REAL, GOOD AND COOL friends around you.
Choose your friends wisely.
You will know if someone is a true and real friend,
If he/she:
Inspires you,
Encourages you,
Respects you (your family and your privacy)
Stands by you in ALL circumstance,
Trusts you,
Tells you the truth, however hurting it is
Fights for you/defends you behind your back
I have many great friends! Do you?

I Love you!

Super Woman, Super Hero!

I love women that are successful!
I love more, women that are happily married and successful!
I love even more women that are happily married, successful and serve mankind!
I love the most women that are happily married, successful, serve mankind and have integrity!
This is why my musing today is on:
My ‘Mum’, friend and supporter: Hon. Folashade Shinkaiye!
It’s her Birthday today!
This woman will just not leave me; she is too interested in my life for her not to be celebrated.
Today I want you to learn from what I learnt from my Super Woman:
Humility: Anyone, Anywhere to her is the same.
To my great woman, the less privilege and the rich is to be treated equally. She can hug anyone no matter how dirty they look.
Service to Humanity, she feel so unfulfilled if she is not helping anyone per time, for her na by force to help o. using her money, home and all to help means nothing.
She has taken care of more children who aren’t hers biologically than most women I know.
Devotion, Commitment & Integrity: Her devotion to her job as the then Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Kogi State is so uncommon, she goes to the ministry on time and returns late like the normal private job. In Naija, which civil servant does that?
Family love: Her love for her family and siblings is so inspiring!
This and many more are the good virtues I learnt from this valuable woman.

Happy Birthday Mum!
When you call one, thousands will answer! May GOD preserve you and shield you from evil arrows.
May your life continue to please God.
Welcome to your year of Elevation!
Please, celebrate my Super Woman and Super Hero with me

I Love you!

Rest!

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy is a popular saying which is true,
All work and no rest is terrible.

Rest is important!
Sleep is rest,
Relaxation is rest,
Swimming is rest,
Quietness of the soul is rest!
Playing is rest,
Hanging out with friends is rest.

Rest increases concentration
Rest improves memory function.
Rest boosts your performance level.
Rest enhances your overall mood.
Exercise without rest will achieve little or nothing,
As rest help you lose fat by making you feel less hungry.
Rest! Rest! Rest!
Look for every opportunity to rest
Hard work pays but too much of it kills.

“There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.” — Alan Cohen

Rest! Rest! Rest!
I Love you!

Preparing for Wealth!

I am sure you’re gonna be so rich,
That the rich today will envy you,
I am sure your struggles and hassles will go sooner and you will be called wealthy!
I know your life will radiate God’s immeasurable favour that will skyrocket you to the top!
But,
How prepared are you for wealth?
How matured are you with money?
How will you handle it when it comes?
Disciplining yourself to handle wealth should start now.
Getting to the top is one thing, staying at the top is another.
If you want a long-lasting wealth, then
  • Learn and discipline yourself to:
  • Use a budget to plan and track spending.
  • Put your family first (They will give you peace of mind when wealth comes)
  • Know about taxation (We Nigerians are terrible with tax. Lol)
  • Invest as much as possible.
  • Increase your savings as income grows
  • Handle praises with humility.
  • Help others (The more you help, the less your problems)
  • Give God what is due Him and more.
  • Create a long-term financial plan.
  • Build a business that can survive without you.
  • Be contented with each stage of your life.
  • Avoid wasting resources on too expensive stuffs…..

Know that big income don’t last forever but good investments do.-KGMD

HANDSOME OR ‘HABITSOME’

Big Boy,
Big chest,

Bearded chest,
Six Packs,
Saloon car,
Handsome Bobo,
Heavy Bible,
What else?

Are you a MAN indeed?
Are you a chauvinist who still thinks a male is superior to a female child?
Still believe every successful woman uses her own body to climb the ladder of success?
Still thinks a woman needs beating to be put in order?

My Guy, A real man is:
  • Dependable
  • Humble
  • Responsible
  • Faithful
  • Self-Confident
  • Bold
  • Strict yet Gentle
  • Generous (winks)
  • Self-motivated
  • Fun to be with
  • Self-reliant
  • Leader
  • Unswayable (Have a vision and stand by it and never allow ANYONE destroy it)
A genuine man should:

Respects a woman
Should accept responsibilities for his actions,
Should be thirsty for knowledge
Should lift other people up
Be a great decision maker
Be a Non-Conformist (Don’t do it because everyone does it)

I mean to make myself a man, and if I succeed in that, I shall succeed in everything else- James A. Garfield.
MAN UP GUYS!
I Love you!
